Hello, we're Kelly and Rita — partners in every culinary adventure we've taken for the past four decades.

Neither of us went to culinary school. We took a handful of cooking classes at our local community college about forty years ago, stumbled into a wine club that genuinely changed the way we looked at what was in our glass, and somehow never looked back. What began as weekend dinners for friends grew into something we can only describe as a full-blown obsession with good food, great wine, and a well-crafted cocktail.
When we travel, restaurants and farmers markets are always on the itinerary. Not the tourist spots — the places locals actually go. The family-run trattoria down the side street, the Saturday morning market with the farmer who grows twelve varieties of heirloom tomatoes, the bar where the bartender makes a mezcal cocktail that changes your mind about mezcal forever. We bring those discoveries home and they end up on our table.
This blog is our way of sharing all of it. The recipes we love, the wines and spirits that make a meal come alive, and the simple idea that cooking for the people you care about — whether it’s just the two of you on a Wednesday night or twenty friends for a themed dinner party — is one of life’s great pleasures.
